Ooooo! I love it! Gorgeous colors and patterns and knowing the story behind it makes it even that much better. (I'm starting to get the whole "story" thing and why we need it." I am learning so much from you. I want you to know how much I appreciate it. :)

Thanks, Kimber! I always considered this one of my 'silly' paintings...but there's nothing wrong with letting the child artist out to play. Thanks for reminding me of this. I hadn't thought of the painting that way, really.

I have to say that you have one of the best artist blogs I have seen, simply because you are honest about the complex process an artist goes through; the self-speak, the doubts, the joys and secret pleasures, the technical difficulties and general life stuff that confounds us at every turn. But we keep painting, and along the way we find many bright pebbles, and many friends of like mind.

Whenever I meet someone like you through my art, it reminds me of how lucky I am to be an artist.
